In January 2003, CC Sun City purchased the property located at 960 West Borderland Road. It was hoped that the multiple existing buildings on site could be remodeled easily into a new sanctuary, a children’s ministry facility and offices.

The Remodeling effort did not go well. The church ended up meeting on site for four years in a tent. The fellowship endured all kinds of weather hazards and bug hazards for four years. Incredibly we not only stayed together as a church but actually grew stronger in number, resources and spiritual maturity. The “tent years” will always hold a special place in our heart.
